Spaces for Students, Community, and Connection

The Clarence L. Barney Jr. African American Cultural Center (AACC) and Women’s Center are spaces where LSU students gather, connect, study, hold meetings, host programs, and access resources that support their LSU experience.

How to Use the Centers

Meeting, gathering, and event spaces are available for Registered Student Organizations.

Spaces can be used for programs, conversations, educational opportunities, community-building activities, and other experiences that bring students together.

How to Reserve a Space in the Centers

Submit requests at least two weeks before your meeting or event. Submitting early gives Campus Life time to review your request, confirm availability, and coordinate any necessary arrangements.

Recurring requests and after-hours reservation times are allowed and are subject to availability; just include all dates and times in your initial request for consideration.

Submitting your event is a request for the space. Your reservation is not confirmed until your TigerLink event has been reviewed and approved and you receive confirmation from Campus Life. Please do not advertise the Center as your confirmed event location until your reservation has been approved.
