A Bill to Discourage the Proliferation of Arms in Iran
1 Article 1: The United Kingdom will not tolerate the creation of and/or the accumulation
2 of arms by the country of Iran.
3 Article 2: The United Kingdom will not permit any Iranian citizens to enter or immigrate
4 to the United Kingdom unless Iran completely dismantles its nuclear program
5 within the timeline set by the UN Security Council.
6 Article 3: The United Kingdom will not permit any citizens of the United Kingdom to enter
7 or immigrate to Iran unless Iran completely dismantles its nuclear program
8 within the timeline set by the UN Security Council.
9 Article 4: No Iranian imports will be permitted inside the United Kindgom if and until Iran
10 completely dismantles its nuclear program within the timeline set by the
11 UN Security Council.
12 Article 5: No exports of the United Kingdom will be directly exported to Iran if and until
13 Iran completely dismantles its nuclear program within the timeline set by the
14 UN Security Council.
15 Article 6: The United Kingdom will expect the support of these embargos by its partners in
16 the European Union.
17 Article 7: The bans and embargoes proposed in this bill will go into effect at the end of
18 the deadline for the renouncement and cessation of nuclear fuel reprocessing by
19 Iran set by the UN Security Council.
20 Article 8: This bill will go into effect at the beginning of the next election cycle, May 5, 2005.
21 Article 9: All other pieces of legislation in conflict with this bill are hereby considered
22 null and void.
