Biography
Jay Perkins specializes in investigative reporting, computer-assisted reporting and political consulting techniques. He was a reporter, editor and political analyst for The Associated Press for 15 years, covering Capitol Hill, the White House and political campaigns. He has served as a writing consultant to the Washington Times and a guest lecturer to journalists in Zambia, and has headed the academic advisory committee for Investigative Reporters and Editors for six years.
