Hannah Zeiber
Assistant Director, Aquatics
I do this work because it is something I love doing everyday. I have been fortunate
enough to serve in roles that allow me to educate people to lead healthy lives. Seeing
my past students and athletes grow and thrive has been incredibly rewarding so I felt
a University Recreation program was the next step in my journey to continue helping
students learn.
Working in aquatics has always been the obvious choice of career since I was young and found a love of the water. I have been a lifeguard since I was 15 years old and continue to build myself up in aquatics because I enjoy it so much. It is something I love sharing with others so being able to be a leader and role model in this field is something I take great pride in.

May the Force be with You
My favorite movies and TV shows are all the Star Wars media. All the trilogies and each series on Disney + have been watched several times over.
Favorite piece of advice from Grandma
“Work hard and never stop learning. Embrace literature and love books – they can take you anywhere. Be a music and art junkie, immerse yourself in the world of creativity. Walk everywhere you can. Take your family out to eat whenever you can, always get dessert and pick up the bill. And be nice to everyone you meet, you never know their story.”
If I didn't work in aquatics...
I would be a high school physical education teacher and coach. I have my Pennsylvania Health and my PE teaching certification. I also previously coached and field hockey and lacrosse for several years in Pennsylvania.
