Her current research interests include charismatic leadership in Max Weber's Economy and Society and Xenophon's Education of Cyrus, strategic decision-making in Thucydides' History of the Peloponnesian War, and presentations of political ambition in texts like Plutarch's Life of Caesar, Machiavelli's Discourses on Livy, and Stendhal's A Life of Napoleon.
