Overview
AEEE offers a variety of youth development and leadership programs through the LSU AgCenter. These programs offer students an opportunity to participate in hands-on learning and advocacy in the areas of agriculture, food and natural resources.
Louisiana 4-H
Louisiana 4-H is the largest youth development program with clubs and groups in all sixty-four parishes. From food, fitness, and fashion to computers, cows, and camping, there's a 4-H activity for everyone. Find your local 4-H program and start making friends and learning new skills.
Louisiana FFA
FFA, known until 1988 as the Future Farmers of America, is a dynamic, intracurricular, student-led organization for young men and women enrolled in agricultural education courses in middle and high schools. Through participation in FFA, members practice skills in animal and plant sciences, mechanics, business, environmental conservation, and leadership. The Louisiana FFA Association is made up of 11,289 members in 204 chapters in 51 parishes. The association is led by an elected group of student officers and adult advisors.
