Holmes Program - Elementary Education
The Elementary Holmes Program allows eligible students to receive a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT), and elementary teaching certificate (grades 1-5) in five years, instead of six.
Years 1 - 4 Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education
Year 5 Master of Arts in Teaching Grades 1 - 5
Holmes Program - Secondary Education
The Secondary Holmes Program allows eligible students to receive Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) and secondary teaching certificate (grades 6-12) in one year, instead of two. Students in all majors are welcome to apply, but specific majors are recommended.
Recommended majors: Anthropology, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Economics BA, Economics BS, English, Geography, History, Mathematics, Physics, Political Science, Sociology
Years 1 - 4 bachelor's degree
Year 5 Master of Arts in Teaching Grades 1 - 5 and teaching certificate
Social Work
The social work advanced standing program allows students with a Bachelor's of Social Work degree to earn their Master's of Social Work degree with a minimum of 33 additional hours.
