Petra A. Robinson, PhD is Associate Professor of Human Resource Development and Adult Education in the School of Leadership & Human Resource Development and Director of Faculty Affairs & Professional Development in the College of Human Sciences & Education. She is also Affiliate Faculty with the African & African American Studies program and a Faculty Fellow with the Office of Academic Affairs. Dr. Robinson’s research focuses on issues related to colorism; non-traditional, critical literacies; equity and social justice in higher and adult education; global lifelong learning; and professional development in the academy. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and four books. The four books include:
