LSU Foundation Distinguished Faculty Teaching Award
Edward Benoit, III, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the School of Information Studies.
Edward Benoit, III is Associate Director and Associate Professor in the School of Information Studies at Louisiana State University. He coordinates the archival studies and cultural heritage resource management programs. He received an MA in History, MLIS and PhD in Information Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. His research focuses on participatory and community archives, non-traditional archival materials, climate change, and archival education. He is the founder and director of the Virtual Footlocker Project, which examines the personal archiving habits of the 21st century soldier in an effort to develop new digital capture and preservation technologies to support their needs. He also directs PROTECCT-GLAM, an IMLS-funded project focused on identify climate-change-related risks for GLAMs.

Oliver Crocco, Ed.D, is a Assistant Professor in the School of Leadership & Human
Resource Development.
Dr. Oliver “Ozzie” Crocco is an Assistant Professor of Leadership and Human Resource Development at Louisiana State University. Previously, Dr. Crocco was a Lecturer of Human and Organizational Learning at the George Washington University in Washington, DC and a Lecturer and Head of International Campus Life at Payap University in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Dr. Crocco’s research focuses on leadership and human resource development (HRD) in Southeast Asia, adult development, learning experience design, and enhancing global mindset in university and work contexts. His recent book, Developing Human Resources in Southeast Asia, explores the regional HRD ecosystem in Southeast Asia. He currently serves as a Board Member on the Academy of Human Resource Development Board of Directors and on the editorial boards of Human Resource Development Review, Advances in Developing Human Resources, and Industrial and Commercial Training.
H.M. "Hub" Cotton Award for Faculty Excellence
Missy Korduner, PhD, is a Assistant Professor of Professional Practice in the School of Leadership & Human Resource Development.
Dr. Missy Korduner holds a PhD in Human Resource Education from LSU. Before joining
the School of Leadership & Human Resource Development faculty in May of 2019, she served in a variety of capacities within higher education
since 2003 including residential life, honors student programming, and first year
experience. Her areas of expertise include: extended orientation and transition
programs; first year student initiatives; program planning and implementation; program
assessment and evaluation; student leader training and development; and student advising.
She has presented at several conferences on academic advising, online student communities,
and extended orientation programs and their impact on the student experience from
program development and implementation to retention, student satisfaction and student
leadership. In addition, she has published on the development of extended orientation
programs in the Journal of College Orientation and Transition.

The College of Human Sciences & Education (CHSE) is a nationally accredited division of Louisiana State University. The college is comprised of the School of Education, the School of Information Studies, the School of Kinesiology the School of Leadership & Human Resource Development, the School of Social Work, and the University Laboratory School.
